Dream painting
The painting of Helen followed a dream of her mother appearing as a bird pecking at her (obviously there were some problems there). Helen came from LA so I painted an arial view of LA in her face. Her mother came from Finland so I depicted a Finnish forest either side. Her hair was red, so I've tinged the who painting with red for effect. Her neck is probably a Finnish lake. I've used this image for the cover of my book "Escape from Reality" (see More About Me page). This painting has been entered in the Special Recognition Category of the Light Space and Time abstract exhibition 2016 displayed on YouTube - see certificate below.
The painting of The Day the Sun Disappearedis my impression of the RAF Fauld underground explosion in 1944. Is was used as the cover of my book about the explosion - see BOOKS.
